I was born in El Salvador, where my love for art began when I was about ten years old, sketching pencil portraits of the people around me. Drawing quickly became more than a pastime; it became a way to observe, connect, and tell stories without words.

After moving to the United States, I began studying oil painting with Mary Pera in 2011 and soon created a studio in my home.

 From 2013 to 2015, I served as Membership Chair of the Memphis-Germantown Art League. My work has been exhibited in local, regional, and national shows and has received awards along the way.

My work explores innocence through quiet, joyful moments in the lives of children and animals. I am drawn to expressive eyes, unguarded gestures, playful energy, and the small details that reveal personality.

Working in oil allows me to build softness, light, and depth while preserving the warmth of each subject.

Every painting begins with observation and an emotional connection. Through my work, I hope viewers recognize something familiar: tenderness, trust, wonder, and the simple joy found in everyday life.
